
is a native of Broadford, County Limerick, and has lived in London for most of her life.
She is a self-taught musician with a background in Irish traditional music, having written many of her own compositions, as well as providing background music for various outlets.
She has a B.A. Hons. in Music, where she specialised in creating original compositions in various ethnic styles.
She plays a variety of instruments, such as: tenor banjo, guitar, mandolin, tin-whistle, accordion, bass guitar and more recently, the Greek bouzouki.
She has produced an Irish traditional music album of original compositions, as well as a `New Age meditation` album which incorporates many styles of ethnic music.
Due to her ever increasing love for Greek music, Maureen has produced a double CD, which includes a mixture of original material, both songs and instrumentals, as well as a selection of well-known Greek favourites.
She is currently working on her next album.
